Bottega Petalo Amore Moscato spumante 20cl
This is a sparkling wine made from Moscato grapes grown on the Colli Euganei, an area in Central Veneto with a famous wine-growing tradition. The area is also known for its rose cultivation. If these roses in bloom, their subtle perfume is transferred to the nearby vineyards by bees. Therefore, one of the characteristics of this wine the unmistakable hint of roses. After harvesting, the grapes undergo a soft one pressing and then a cold maceration to about 5 ° C for 12 hours. The must is separated of the peel by light pressure and stored at low temperatures to prevent fermentation. It sparkling process starts after the addition of selected yeasts, directly to the must. The resulting wine has the fresh and fragrant character of the original grapes, a low alcohol content and a pleasantly sweet taste.
