Cantina Ottoventi's red showpiece. 100% Nerello Mascalese, an autochthonous Sicilian grape, from which beautiful wines are also made on Etna, among other places. The vines are tied up on a stick (albarello) and stand individually on the poor soil at an altitude of 280 meters. The wine was also aged for 16 months in new French oak. The results are highly concentrated aromas with a slightly intense colour. Ripe wild strawberries and red currant compote, tobacco leaf, truffle and hummus.,,Gastronomy: A deliciously complex wine for a risotto with mushrooms or all kinds of game birds.
